About the role:

The SHEQ Manager is responsible for the Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality management across the Keysource group. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all safety legislation is adhered to and policies and practices are adopted, and where required implement new policies.

This role is an integral part of the delivery and operational teams, particularly within Keysource and group companies, to not only create safe working environments for all stakeholders, but to develop dedicated plans, processes, and procedure to better control activities that are appropriate and consistent with working within critical environments.

It is essential for this role to be fully integrated at all levels within the business to ensure that full and proper consideration is given to all aspects of Health, Safety & Environment and best practice approaches to work from the conception of a project and ensure the right amount of time (and therefore cost) is allowed for training, review and execution of agreed approaches with not only internal teams but customers as well.

The role will be responsible for the monthly group SHEQ report and meetings including performance in the month and year to date against agreed KPI’s (AF/IR, near misses, site inspection scores, supply chain assessments), status of improvement actions, findings/actions log update and planned business support requirements across the group.

What we’re looking for?

Key competencies:

  • Committed to conducting thorough site inspections, preparing detailed reports, and implementing improvements.
  • Possesses a proactive approach with proven experience in driving change through continuous improvement of processes and team performance.
  • Skilled at developing health and safety strategies, plans, processes, and procedures with a focus on proactive implementation.
  • Proficient in analysing data to identify recurring issues to mitigate
  • Time and Priority management across group company requirements.

Required qualifications & experience:

  • A recognised Competent Person
  • NEBOSH National certificate in Construction health & Safety
  • Complete understanding of applicable standards and regulations including CDM
  • Member of appropriate Industry association
  • Experience with data centre and critical environments

Please note that this role requires frequent travel to sites within the UK, and overseas – likely to be 2-3 days per week.

Project Director – Data Centre Construction

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Director to lead the delivery of a 3MW data centre construction project. This role requires a dynamic professional with exceptional communication skills, a high-level project focus, and a solid background in construction and data centre operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of the data centre project from appointment to completion, ensuring it meets time, budget, and quality targets.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, contractors, and clients, maintaining transparent and effective communication.
  • Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and implement project strategies, aligning them with organisational goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring accountability across all project phases.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to address challenges proactively.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant standards and regulations, maintaining the highest quality levels.

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience leading construction projects, including a strong background in data centre delivery.
  • Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security systems.
  • Proven success managing large-scale projects, cross-functional teams, with the ability to mitigate risk, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communicator with a proven ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams.
  • Relevant advanced degrees in construction, engineering, or project management, chartered status or certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.

The role is a full-time position, and your base salary will be commensurate with experience but is expected to be highly competitive due to the responsibilities and expertise required for leading a high-value data centre construction project.

This role offers a blend of on-site presence in Farnborough and office-based work near Gatwick. Candidates should be comfortable with regular travel between these locations to support effective project delivery and team collaboration.
