Live data centre update for global technology company
A global technology company awarded Keysource a major data centre capacity expansion project in Hamburg, Germany, following a competitive tender process. The project included the design and build of an additional 400 rack data hall with 1MW of IT capacity and a concurrently maintainable solution.
The decision to convert the existing two storey building comes due to the unprecedented demand for its services which include communications, network services, security, cloud solutions, voice and managed services.
Keysource was selected on the basis of its expert engagement, detailed understanding of the requirement and proven pedigree in critical upgrade projects.
The live critical upgrade was completed working around existing IT services zero disruption. The installation includes new transformer, UPS, switchgear and busbar. An existing chilled water ring has been adapted, new cooling units, racks, cold aisle containment system and BMS installed.
