Royal Holloway awards contract to Keysource
Keysource, the leading global datacentre and critical environment specialist, has been awarded a contract extension by Royal Holloway, University of London. It builds on a successful 10-year relationship during which Keysource has provided critical infrastructure services for the college.
Under the terms of the two-year contract extension, Keysource will be providing a comprehensive critical facilities management solution, supporting the University’s entire data centre estate with a 4-hour response to site, ensuring maximum responsiveness during the university’s peak times.
Keysource will also be responsible for managing a coordinated, planned preventative maintenance programme (PPM) with accurate and detailed records helping to ensure equipment and service uptime, whilst identifying potential problem areas. This will provide easy access to key data, meaning that all stakeholders will have transparency of issues impacting health, safety, environmental and statutory compliance.
Commenting on the new contract, Daren Bezants, Head of Maintenance at Royal Holloway, said: “Keysource has been a trusted advisor for many years and understands our priorities and service expectations. Throughout the past ten years, they have never become complacent and have delivered continuous improvements across our data centre estate. As a result it was an easy decision to extend our agreement with them.”
Luke Brimelow, Key Account Manager at Keysource, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded the extension of this service agreement with Royal Holloway, a customer that we have worked with for over ten years. Throughout our partnership with them, we have ensured that all end-users are provided with well-run on-campus data centre facilities as an absolute priority. This is testament to our commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience to our service contract customers and our specialist approach to the management of facilities essential to education establishments.”
