Keysource, the datacentre and critical environment specialist, has appointed a new Head of Operational Services as part of a refresh that will see an increased focus on collecting and leveraging data to support the maintenance, operation and management of complex critical environments on behalf of its global clients.

Keysource has extended its consultancy offer to include detailed analysis on the sustainability and environmental impact of clients’ IT hardware in their data centres. It follows a new partnership agreement with Interact, the specialist company that uses machine learning to deliver verifiable analysis of energy and carbon usage of IT hardware in data centres.

Keysource, the specialist in data centres and critical environments, has successfully completed a management buyout (MBO), led by Stephen Whatling. The transaction was backed by Tosca Debt Capital (TDC) and Shawbrook Bank, who provided equity finance and debt funding respectively. Terms of the deal are undisclosed.

The London Borough of Hillingdon has renewed its managed services contract with global data centre and critical environment specialist Keysource for a further two years, building on a successful partnership spanning over 15 years.

Keysource, the leading global datacentre and critical environment specialist, has been awarded a contract extension by Royal Holloway, University of London. It builds on a successful 10-year relationship during which Keysource has provided critical infrastructure services for the college.

Namsos Datasenter (NDS), in partnership with Keysource, the global datacentre and critical environment specialists, have announced the completion of their edge/ colocation datacentre blueprint and associated business plan. The next stage will involve discussions with investors, with a planned build completion date of 2023.

China Telecom has awarded Keysource, the data centre and critical environment specialist, a contract for a major project for a leading Chinese finance house. Under the terms of the deal, Keysource will be responsible for the installation of Huawei Modular Data Centre Infrastructure within an IT Hub in Central London.
